I love working for a company that believes success starts with growing and developing people. A lot of my districts management team are internal promotes just as I was an internal promote from General Manager to District Manager.

I think the connections that I've made here have made me a stronger leader. Getting to work for a family-owned business has been very important for me. Seeing the generational growth with the family has been big. And the people I report to, and their understanding of the business and what makes it work, they make me a better leader.

Seeing the growth from 2020 to where we're at now has been great. Seeing our HR department grow, our marketing department grow...etc. It's been good to feel like you can really see the company developing a lot. And as we bring on new roles to help support us, I look forward to the continued growth.

One of the things I value most is that this company doesn’t just see the numbers—it sees the people. I’ve always felt that my hard work is recognized and appreciated, not just professionally but personally, too.

Joining the HRG team is one of the best decisions I have made. I have grown as a leader and as a person due to the support of team members and management that I have worked with. I have acquired skills that I will continue to utilize both professionally and personally. It’s been 11 years, and I hope to be here for 20 more. It’s amazing to work for a company that continues to grow and improve. HRG strong.

This company has very high standards. And I thrive on that. You know I get a lot of support, positive support, and I get challenged a lot. What's great about this company is, I don't know everything about the pizza business, but I'm surrounded by people that do. And I don't have to know everything. I just have to make a phone call.

What I love most about working at HRG is the development from within. I was someone who came up from a district manager to a regional. I've been able to promote GMs to Districts as well now, assistants up to GMs. We've been able to grow, that's provided opportunities for myself and my other colleagues. It's given me a ton of opportunity to grow in my career and it's been great for me.

If I had to choose one thing I love about HRG, it would be the "family". I have worked for giant corporations, private country clubs, and I owned my own business for 10 years. But this is the only company where I have met the owner, the CEO, the Director of Operations, the Regional Managers, and the District Managers...we really are a family company. Everyone cares about me, my family, and my second family - my team. They give me the air space to run my store and the support when needed. They celebrate wins and understand that we are human and have opportunities.

What I love the most is the people. Our leaders above us are so supportive and they help us, and I could call them at any time, and they answer, and they have great respect for each other. One of my proudest moments was the opening of Dixie Highway. That was our third busiest week ever as a company and watching all of the uppers come and help support, whether they knew how to make pizzas or not, they were in that building and helping me open that location. It's just a lot of fun.

What I like working for HRG is the interaction with the team. From the higher ups down. I started as a General manager and worked my way up to district manager, so that was a really proud moment for me. And I'm really proud to have been given another store a year after performing so well in Cedar Hill.

I chose to work for HRG because I was looking for growth. My previous company didn’t offer opportunities to move forward, but with Marco’s and HRG, there’s a clear path to advancement. HRG has supported me by providing tools that help me grow as a leader. The upper management team is knowledgeable, approachable, and always willing to help. They treat General Managers like business owners, which gives us both the freedom and responsibility to make strong decisions.
